Jakarta, March 2025 – VIVA Apotek has once again launched its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program titled “VIVA Apotek Berbagi” (VIVA Apotek Shares).
In collaboration with online donation platform Benih Baik, the program distributed essential aid including basic necessities, vitamins, and free healthcare services to residents of orphanages and nursing homes across several cities.
Over a seven-day period at the end of January 2025, VIVA Apotek Berbagi reached four major cities: Semarang, Solo, Surabaya, and Bekasi. Assistance was directly distributed to those in need, including residents of Gandekan Village in Solo, residents of Yayasan Cinta Kasih Ibu Teresa in Surabaya, and Kasih Sayang Nursing Home in Bekasi.
The free healthcare services provided included blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, uric acid testing, and cholesterol screening. These services were offered to both elderly individuals and children, along with medical consultations conducted by professional healthcare personnel.
The CSR program also included entertainment activities for the residents, providing moral support and emotional warmth.
VIVA Apotek Director, Ni Ketut Sukartiwi, emphasized that the program reflects the company’s strong commitment to supporting public health.
“We are very pleased to be able to contribute positively to communities in various cities. The enthusiasm of the beneficiaries served as a key indicator of the program’s success. Lita, a representative of Yayasan Cinta Kasih Ibu Teresa in Surabaya, expressed her gratitude for the assistance provided.
“We are very happy to have been visited by a well-known pharmacy that truly cares about us. The event was enjoyable and very beneficial for the elderly and children here,” said Lita.
Through its collaboration with Benih Baik, the VIVA Apotek Berbagi CSR program stands as an example of positive synergy in supporting social welfare and public health.
